While many workshops in Lisbon have turned to fast, industrial thermal transfer methods, we proudly preserve the centuries-old craft of Portuguese azulejo painting. Each tile is meticulously hand-painted by a trained artist using the authentic majolica technique, creating unique pieces full of soul and character.

Reserve a session →A session costs €45 for one tile or €50 for two, all materials and artist guidance included. Hen parties costs €75 per person (minimum 6 people), and the Private walking tour + Workshop package starts at 70€ per person.
A one-tile session lasts around 1 hour, and a two-tile session around 1h30. The private walking tour + Workshop package lasts 2h30 hours in total: a 1h30 private guided walk followed by a 1h painting session.
Our workshop can host large groups but only on request. We limit a session to 20 people maximum in a very cozy environment and it doesn’t happen every day. A medium-size group is usually between 8 & 12 people.
Your tile is kiln-fired overnight and will be ready for collection the next day* (please allow 30 hours for the 10:30 workshop). Tile pick-ups are available during the shop’s normal opening hours (the shop that hosts the workshop — POP). However, delays may occasionally occur due to kiln issues, in which case we will notify you promptly.
No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a steady hand. Your artist will guide you through every stroke, and you can choose your own pattern: geometric or freestyle. We do not recommend this workshop for children under 5 years old.
The workshop is at Rua da Senhora do Monte 38C, in Graça, a 5-minute walk from the Tram 28 Graça stop. Bus lines 737 and 794 serve the area, and it is a 15–20 minute uphill walk from Baixa-Chiado.
Yes, it is possible, but we are not responsible for supervising your children. You will need to stay nearby. In the meantime, the workshop is located in a wine and gourmet shop where you can taste excellent Portuguese products and receive a 5% discount (also available the day you pick up your tiles).
Yes, we can deliver them to your hotel in Lisbon city centre for €20 in total. If you are staying in Cascais or Sintra, the service fee is €40 in total.If you are unable to pick up your tiles due to time constraints, we can also deliver them abroad. Fees depend on the destination.
