A tile painting workshop in Lisbon built for groups, whether you are a handful of friends or fifty colleagues. Everyone paints their own azulejo tile, it is fired overnight, and each person collects a finished tile the next day. Standard sessions are 45€ per person for one tile and 50€ for two. For bigger groups we build the session around you, with custom tiles and company invoicing.
What a group session looks like
Everyone sits at the same long table with a tile, a brush, and mineral pigments. An artist shows the group the majolica technique, then moves around the table while you paint. No experience needed, and there is no template you have to follow: copy a traditional pattern or design your own.
The tiles go into the kiln overnight and come out glazed and solid. Each person collects their own the next day, or arranges a pickup if the group is leaving early. It takes about 90 minutes for one tile, up to two hours for two.
For companies and team-building
The atelier takes up to 50 participants for private and corporate sessions. Sessions are fully customisable: put your company logo or a custom pattern on each tile, add catering, and get full company invoicing. It works for team days, works councils, and school trips.

Where you’ll be
Rua da Senhora do Monte 38C, in Graça, on the hill above Alfama, five minutes from the Tram 28 Graça stop. The highest viewpoint in the city is a minute from the door, which makes the group photo easy. Graça is residential and calm, so it is simpler to gather a group here than in the middle of the tourist centre.
Planning a group visit
Book ahead and tell us your numbers. Standard slots run at 10:30 and 15:00, seven days a week, and larger groups usually take a private slot. If your group is a hen party, there is a dedicated hen party experience with a mimosa and pastel de nata included.
